If you’ve decided to go hot air ballooning in Cappadocia, then well done! It’s one of the most amazing things I’ve done on my travels, and I still have such incredible memories of my trip! I’m constantly recommending it, and I know a lot of you have found my blog from searching for info on the region.
I’ve just returned from a week in beautiful Catalonia in Spain, and wow was this a trip with a difference! The tourist board invited me on a ‘mystery trip’. I was given flights to Barcelona, and instructed to pack sun cream, water shoes and be ready for an adventure. What would I be doing? Where would I be going? Only my guide from the tourist board knew that, and nope – however many questions I asked, she had NO intention of giving the game away.
Window seat or aisle? You’ve guessed it. I’m ALWAYS a window seat girl. I mean what’s the point in travelling the world, and not seeing where you’re going? While I love curling up and watching a good movie, for me, the best in-flight entertainment is happening just beyond that window pane.
I often get goose bumps the first moment I spot the destination I’m travelling to – don’t you? Plus, when you book the window seat you know you’ll be able to cocoon yourself into a wonderfully comfy position, and have the edge of the plane to lean on. I honestly think it’s the comfiest seat on the plane.
