Stand out from the crowds with one of these fun, colourful suitcases, after all having stylish luggage is all part of the fun of travelling!
It’s time to put the new American Tourister Soundbox Suitcase to the test…
Don’t tell anyone, but I’ve been travelling around with a rather battered case for a while now. I’m a travel pro with a case that tells a different story. My old case has sentimental value – it’s travelled far and seen some incredible sights, but finally, it’s time for us to part ways and see other people.
So, when I had a chance to take some brand-new American Tourister luggage for a spin, I couldn’t wait to travel in style again!
American Tourister Soundbox Suitcase: What’s It All About?
First things first, the Soundbox range is seriously fun! Coming in two bright shades tropical lime and summer blue, and two more sensible colours midnight navy and bass black, the cases have a circle motif that reminds me of a boombox speaker – no doubt where the name Soundox comes from.
Obviously, being a turquoise lover I had to go for the ‘summer blue’ which is a bright shade of teal. It’s really fun, and so bright you’ll spot it from miles away as it makes its way around the luggage belt.
American Tourister Soundbox Suitcase: Size, Weight and Manoeuvrability
The Soundbox range comes in three sizes – a cabin size case, a medium and a large. I opted for a large, knowing it would come in when travelling with my partner.
The 77cm large case has 4 wheels, weighs just 4.2 kg and has a capacity of a whopping 97 litres. It’s big, without being hefty. Well, before filling it with all my holiday clothes and accessories anyway!
I’ve not had a 4-wheel case before and it really is a game changer! It’s SO easy to wheel around, spins on the spot, and being so mobile, it made me want to dance around the airport quite a few times!
With its hard plastic exterior, it feels very durable, although time will tell on that one.
I round up the best of the summer fashions, from tropical print playsuits, to cute bikinis, so you’re guaranteed to look gorgeous on your summer holiday!
It’s fair to say that as I’m away so often, I don’t get to shop much. And when I do, it’s mainly online (HELLO ASOS!!) I’ve always enjoyed picking out new things, and I LOVE the feeling of going out in a whole new outfit. Just this week though, I’ve been looking ahead to summer and spotted a few dreamy items I really want to snap up before my next sunshiney adventure.
When it comes to summer holidays, I like to keep things simple in a playsuit or dress, usually over a bikini. If you’re not jet-setting too much, then it’s important to keep things budget friendly too – after all, how often will you really get to wear those skimpy outfits in the UK? Everything below is under £35, and many items are around £20! This year there are some awesome prints and styles around, so time to round up a few looks I’m lusting after right now!
I absolutely adore this fun beach bag! It’s the perfect size for suncream, wallet, sunnies, a towel and a phone… plus those all important beach snacks! Plus we all know pom poms are in this season!
